If you remember the discussion about using a straight roller:
I was fortunate enough to come across some cores from a project in
which a bent roller was used. You can see in the photos, the high
areas (the crests of the waves) produced longer cores with a looser top
surface, while the low areas produced shorter cores with a much denser
top surface. This is what you’d expect, but it’s nice to have the
photos to back up the hypothesis.
