Matthew Offenberg an internationally acclaimed pervious concrete expert. As an authority on the topic, he is invited to speak and publish about pervious concrete across the US and internationally. His broad base of experience includes all phases of pervious concrete applications: stormwater management, mixture proportioning, batch plant production, construction, and, testing.
A leader in the concrete industry, he chaired the American Concrete Institute (ACI) 522 committee on pervious concrete from 2005-2012, and is the founding chairman of the NRMCA committee on pervious concrete certification. Currently also the secretary of American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) subcommittee C09.49, Pervious Concrete, Offenberg is also active in several industry associations including the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) and the Georgia Concrete Products Association. He holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
